Finding Myself

I’m not a little girl anymore 
I’ve learned who to trust 
& who to ignore
I dont forgive people because I'm weak, I forgive them because I'm strong enough to know that people make mistakes.
It's hard to grow up in a society where you will never be the pretty girl. Everyone seems to have everything you don't. And dreams are always one cloud away from where you are.But inside you know youll be fine, somewhow ,Im beginning to find myself. 

Este poema me encanta, tal vez porque es exactamente lo que pienso y he sentido al crecer y pasar de niña a mujer. Es
un poema profundo pero a la vez bien coloquial que explica de alguna forma como me veo y como veo el mundo a mi alrededor.
